Tuition & fees

Tuition for the year is CHF 80,000
Additional mandatory fees of CHF 17,500 cover all program and project-related expenses for the year as well as access to IMD’s world-class campus facilities and services. Including:

Payment schedule

Installment deadlines

1st installment/deposit due:
2-4 weeks after receiving an admissions offer.
Your non-refundable 1st installment guarantees your seat in the program.

2nd installment due:

30 September
Applicants from the September deadline will need to pay the 1st and 2nd installments at the same time.

The 2nd installment is non-refundable as of 15 October.

3rd installment due:

15 December

CHF 45,000

4th installment due:

28 February

  • All fees quoted are exclusive of any value-added or other indirect taxes that may be due in any country.
  • Scholarships will be deducted from the 4th installment first. Any remaining scholarship amount will then be deducted from the 3rd installment.
  • Scholarships cannot be deducted from the 1st or 2nd installment.
  • If you are using an IMD-affiliated loan provider, the 3rd and 4th installments can be covered by the loan. If the loan does not fully cover the 3rd and 4th installments, the remaining balance must be paid by the 3rd installment deadline.
  • Candidates using a loan provider must provide proof of loan preapproval by 15 December.

Personal expenses

Housing and living expenses vary according to your lifestyle. The average for a single person is CHF 36,000, although this can be reduced if you share accommodation.

If you come to IMD with your family, you will need to increase your overall budget depending on the number and ages of those accompanying you.
