Mastering future readiness at OWP Singapore 2024
IMD Singapore welcomes 220+ participants to its Singapore campus this week, 18-22 November, for five inspiring days of keynotes and immersive learning sessions. One of the participants, Maria Riolo, offers her insights in a blog post from Day One.
Zooming out to see things from a different perspective, gain new insights and integrate both personal and professional reflections can be a powerful way of learning and leading. Especially as connecting leadership, business and cultures sit at the core of my coaching and consulting activities, I love to zoom out myself through continuous learning.
This is what made me sign up for the 2024 Singapore edition of IMD’s flagship programme OWP, Orchestrating Winning Performance – and return to my former ‘home’ for the week … This year’s main OWP theme Future Readiness offers a rich variety of insightful sessions, key notes and experiences. I really like that I can build my own personalised agenda, choosing from relevant topics, with leadership as a connecting theme. Just to share two highlights of day 1: discussing “How to win beyond the market”, with IMD President David Bach and exploring “How to do business with family businesses in Asia”, with Marleen Dieleman.
Beyond the themes and topics, what amazes me is to be part of a cohort of 220+ participants and a diverse group of professors and the IMD team, representing 25 countries, 16 industries and 120+ companies. Plenty of opportunities for inspiring conversations and new connections! I feel grateful for this experience and am looking forward to the next four days!
