Why recruit at IMD?
You are looking for candidates with leadership potential who are ready to make an immediate impact and develop to the upper echelons of your company.
The goal of the IMD MBA is to develop reflective and responsible leaders who will transform organizations and contribute to society. We want to help our students develop the leadership skills which will help them to succeed not only at that first post-MBA job, but throughout their career.
Our dedicated career development team works with each recruiting company to understand your company culture and identify the best talent for your immediate and future needs.
Our MBAs
Before being admitted, our highly diverse students go through a rigorous assessment followed by a full background check conducted by an independent agency.
Our students come from all over the world and have an average of seven years of solid experience in diverse industries and functions. They usually have at least six months experience outside their home country and speak multiple languages.
Our one year MBA program runs from January to December each year, and upon graduation in early December our MBAs are ready to make an immediate impact.
How to recruit our MBAs
We collaborate closely with you to understand your hiring needs and recruiting style. A variety of recruiting and networking activities have been designed with your needs in mind.
Online access allows you to search by multiple criteria to identify the individuals who fit your needs. Download a CV book of the class, or of selected candidates, and contact them directly.
Recruiting presentations
Present your company and internship opportunities available for MBAs (virtual or on campus). MBAs will be available for internships in the summer for a pre-defined period – get in touch with the Career Exploration team for details.
Company visits and panel discussions
Engage with CDC and MBA-led industry specific clubs to arrange panel discussions, stand-alone presentations, company visits and/or industry insights.
Present your company (culture, challenges, opportunities, and possible career paths) over a presentation and Q&A session, followed by networking. Virtual presentations also welcome.
During a two-week period, our MBAs are focused on exploring career opportunities and no classes are scheduled. Dedicated time for companies to meet MBAs on campus: present your company, full-time career options and recruitment process over a ~1hour presentation/ Q&A session accompanied by dedicated networking time (breakfast/ lunch/ coffee/ apéro).
