IMD business school for management and leadership courses
Lockheed Martin integrates AI across its aerospace and defense operations. One of the key drivers behind their AI advancements is the AI Factory, an internal platform where AI applications are developed and deployed at scale. This ecosystem streamlines access to machine learning pipelines, data, software, and security while ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and privacy standards. The factory is used by over 8,000 engineers and developers, with example outputs including the LMText Navigator. Lockheed Martin’s AI ecosystem, including Skunk Works®, extends into autonomous systems and multi-domain solutions, advancing innovation in critical areas like defense systems, aircraft maintenance, and space missions Generative AI also plays a role in this transformation, enhancing mission planning, business functions, and engineering processes.
