She combines her executive role with strategic advisory through her start-up 4ADA and non-executive board work in the UK, Denmark, and Norway. Andersen holds a bachelor’s degree with 1st Class Honors in Offshore Electrical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, UK, and an Executive MBA with Honors from IMD.

Expertise & Interests

Andersen has a particular interest in: the role of energy in value creation and world peace, balancing the trilemma, energy security, decarbonization, and affordability, and securing a just transition whilst tackling climate change. In addition, she is focused on how leadership and culture transformation can occur alongside future-proof strategy development strategies.

Inspired by the real-life learnings at IMD to “challenge what is and inspire what could be,” Andersen pursues digital transformation – including the human side of digital – the circular economy, and how to scale from idea to business for startups or ventures inside big corporates.

In addition, she has a focus on the role of boards during geopolitical instability, rapid technology changes (AI), and climate change. What does good governance and sustainability look like?
