Joseph Bradley is the visionary CEO behind TONOMUS, the first subsidiary company of NEOM, which has evolved from its technology and digital sector to lead the creation of the world’s first cognitive community. Joseph and his team’s strategic foresight are delivering a full-scale, end-to-end cognitive technology ecosystem for NEOM. By harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain and robotics, they are bringing cognitive cities to life.
Joseph’s career has been defined by remarkable success, both as an executive in the tech sector and a business leader. With a lifelong passion for data-driven systems that enable sustainable synergy between people and technology, Joseph is a renowned entrepreneur with a reputation for enabling companies to leverage innovation in maximizing these dynamic interactions.
Expertise & Interests
The California native graduated with a B.A. in economics from the University of California at Berkeley, before starting his career at Pacific Bell, where he became Chief Financial Officer of the largest operating unit by the young age of 28. He moved on to AT&T as General Manager of the Data Communications group, and held several leadership positions at C3 Communications, including CEO, CFO and Senior Vice President of Shared Services.
Joseph joined TONOMUS after 15 years of senior leadership at Cisco, the most recent of which was Global Vice President IoT, Blockchain, AI and Incubation Businesses. In addition to managing the delivery of advanced services, business development, commercialization, staffing and operations for Cisco Systems’ incubation operation, Joseph was instrumental in developing its next-generation consulting model, with a data-driven path outlining how customers can capture the value of Internet of Everything (IoE). The term, which he had helped coin, encapsulates how people, process, and data work together, and is key to both his leadership and approach to cognitive technologies at TONOMUS.
Contributions
He has delivered keynotes at IMD’s OWP Lausanne (2024) and at several tech events including Mobile World Congress, Collision, World Summit AI, Web Summit, and LEAP. Additionally, he has given a TEDx Talk (Niendorf) on The Dawn of Generative AI, the Great Equalizer.
