Experience & Background

Peter Vogt has over 30 years of general management experience in the FMCG industry with particular focus on the commercial area and, more recently, in HR. He ran businesses and companies in Asia (Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore) and Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Nordic countries). From 2013 until his retirement in 2018 he was Group HR Head of Nestlé SA and served as a member of its Executive Board. He currently chairs the Nestlé Pension Fund and Nestlé Germany, supports a few startup companies, and is a member of several not-for-profit boards in the area of dual education, senior citizen support, and human resources.

His expertise includes managing in culturally diverse environments, business transformation, and merger integration as well as talent management and compensation. He initiated and managed the HR transformation at Nestlé and supported the refocusing of the company. His belief is that any successful organization must be purpose- and value-driven, connected to its ecosystem, focused on added value to its clients and operationally lean and aligned towards its goals.

Vogt studied business management and economics at University St. Gallen and London School of Economics with a focus on finance and accounting (lic.oec. HSG). His executive development included several IMD courses including PED (Program for Executive Development) and BPSE.
