The International Alumni Association enables alumni to connect with IMD – and each other – through its powerful network. Alumni will be able to access the Association through the new and improved MyIMD platform to explore events, browse lifelong learning opportunities and online directories, and much more.

The purpose of the Association is to complement what the individual Alumni Clubs are doing locally, what degree program Classes do with their cohorts and what IMD’s thematic Communities offer, namely, to support, engage and continue to develop leaders who will transform organizations and contribute to society. It neither overrides nor replaces these other initiatives, rather will serve as the gateway to a full and truly global alumni experience, designed by alumni, with alumni and for alumni.

The Association is important because it allows alumni to stay connected, irrespective of where they live or how they wish to continue their relationship with IMD. Now those who do not live near a club or who are global nomads will also be able to have a rich alumni experience.

The International Alumni Association is an independent not-for-profit Association created under Swiss law with its seat in Lausanne, Switzerland. Its board of directors consists of three members from IMD (two are also IMD alumni) and six from the alumni community, presided over by the Chair.
