IMD Business School has been reaccredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business for the maximum possible 5-year term, confirming its status in an elite worldwide group.
IMD is the only business school in Switzerland and one of less than a hundred worldwide to hold the coveted “triple crown” of accreditations from AACSB, EFMD EQUIS and AMBA.

The full AACSB renewal follows a two-day site visit and peer review in March by deans from three leading international business schools to assess IMD against AACSB’s rigorous quality assurance standards. The reaccreditation was approved by a vote of the association’s Board of Directors on June 25.
After their visit, the peer reviewers praised IMD across a range of criteria:
- IMD’s engagement with business sets a global “best practice” standard
- The school has a caring, high-performance culture. Faculty and staff are committed to meaningful learning impacts
- Satisfaction is high among MBA and EMBA participants
- Participant learning is closely assessed in relation to clear objectives
- The institution is globally recognized as a leading school and attracts a world-class and internationally diverse faculty
