2024 marked another record year for IMD, with operating revenues reaching 171.8m CHF, a slight increase of 0.6% over the previous year. Total revenues generated by executive education accounted for 87% of total operating revenues, with open and online programs contributing 34% and custom programs 53%. The MBA and EMBA degree programs generated 12% of total operating revenues, while other revenues amounted to 1%.
Our growth in 2024 was driven by strategic investments in innovation and AI, particularly through custom-built GenAI, which transformed classroom learnings into dynamic conversations. This progress was supported by our extensive portfolio featuring over 372 custom programs and more than 184 online and open programs.
The institution’s strong international perspective and the excellence of our faculty remain pivotal to our success.
Europe continues to be our main market, contributing 59% of total revenues.
However, our geographic diversification has brought more leaders across regions to benefit from our programs. Our Middle East & Africa (MEA) presence achieved 32% higher revenues than the previous year while Asia saw a 10.3% increase in revenues.
