IMD is thrilled to have earned five awards at the Brandon Hall Group Human Capital Management Excellence Awards for custom programs co-created with HEINEKEN, SAP, Bayer, and Securitas.

The Heineken-IMD WIN (Women Interactive Network) received gold for Best Leadership Development for Women. In accordance with their commitment to fill 30% of their senior management roles with women by 2025, HEINEKEN launched a global leadership development program, WIN (Women Interactive Network). WIN was designed to empower and support emerging women leaders at Heineken by fostering a more equitable and inclusive environment. After two successful editions where 40% of participants were promoted, they collaborated with IMD Professor of Organizational Behavior and Leadership Ginka Toegel to expand the program to include 100 participants from 36 nationalities.

IMD also won gold in Best Corporate Culture Transformation for its entry Lead SAP into the Future – SAP/IMD Leadership OS, led by Professor of Leadership and Organizational Behavior Shlomo Ben-Hur with contributions from Professor of Strategy and Innovation Patrick Reinmoeller. Ben-Hur, co-author of Leadership OS: The Operating System You Need to Succeed, said, “We identified and defined what the leadership operating system needs to have to be able to drive the results.” The achieved aim was to increase trust, clarity, and momentum in the organization’s leadership teams.

The Heineken International Management Course (HIMAC) earned silver for Best Learning Program Supporting a Change Transformation Business Strategy. Together with IMD Professor of Strategy and International Business Niccolò Pisani, Heineken worked on refreshing the HIMAC course for senior managers, integrating it into the leadership development curriculum. HIMAC focuses on accelerating the implementation of the company’s EverGreen Strategy by enhancing their mastery of both internal and external aspects of their leadership transformation and working on concrete action-learning, acceleration projects.

“It’s fantastic news that the Heineken HIMAC program has been recognized with this award because it’s a truly unique and immersive journey focused on participants’ learning and development,” shared Pisani.

The Bayer Sprint and Securitas learning journeys earned bronze awards for Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Development Program and Best Learning Program Supporting a Change Transformation Business Strategy, respectively.

IMD and Bayer co-created and launched 29 weekly Sprints over 10 months, resulting in the development of 12,826 leaders. ‘’The IMD/Bayer Sprint was a remarkable story of collaboration-close partnering between Bayer and IMD from the outset to align on individual and collective objectives, and to jointly design a compelling and innovative learning experience,” said IMD Director of Programs and Learning Design Paul Hunter.

“The Securitas program, a partnership between the firm’s group management team and IMD, demonstrates the power of listening to, engaging with, and empowering executives from across an organization to shape and execute transformation,” said Tom Malnight, IMD’s Professor of Strategy and Management. “Our IMD team also benefited by challenging how we view our role well beyond traditional teaching to constantly develop new insights and ways of engaging.”

In last year’s Brandon Hall Group Awards, IMD received four gold medals and one silver for IMD’s Digital Transformation Sprint, and two gold accolades for the work with the LEGO Group and Bank Mandiri Indonesia.
