The custody industry
This note/case was written for students and executive audiences to experience industry analysis tools in the context of the financial industry. It allows for key success factor analysis, critical mass competitor analysis, in a specialised sector (global custody) through the eyes of State Street Bank, one of the leading providers. The case is focused on the custody industry as a whole, not just on one company. It is suitable for courses on strategy, industry and competitive analysis, international business and global strategy.
