In 1996, Xerox Europe Ltd.’s environmental group adopts the slogan “The only thing we leave with our customers is – the Document!”. In spite of Xerox’s commitment to protecting the environment, their take-back policy met with some negative customer feedback as well as internal resistance from various divisions. The question now is, should the company continue or discontinue its current policy and business strategy?
